About Me

Welcome to RHE Designs! A quirky range of products all designed by myself, Ruth Egginton.

I started higher education, firstly at Walsall College, studying foundation degree in art and design, specialising in textiles and 3D design. This led on to myself studying for 3 years at Winchester School of Art in printed textile design.

2009 I started freelance designing, and now in 2011 setting up my own brand and range of products. Alongside textile design my passion is interior design and I take inspiration from many sources, see my blog for regular updates. My style is contemporary and bold, much of my work is abstract, and I love experimenting with different techniques that give my portfolio a unique edge.

Currently I'm living in the Scottish Highlands, in the seaside town of Nairn. I grew up in the West Midlands, in Walsall, where my family still lives. I decided to move 'up north' for a more relaxed life style, and will be moving to Edinburgh next year to pursue a career in interior design.
